Abstract
In this paper a new combustion system is described, which not only has the capacity to reduce the NOx emissions by roughly 2/3 but also allowes for an increased efficiency of the engine. A not earlier observed window in the combustion layout, which could be adopted without heavy redesigning and without external components, has been teoretically and practically recognised and developed. The new layout has already patent protection and production applications are under work. In this paper the principle is described and examplified in a simple theoretical cycle calculation.
