Development of Heart Rate Sensor for Automobile

An ambulatory monitoring sensor of driver's heart rates has been developed. The sensor is wristband type and it can be easily worn. The heart rate sensor contains an electric condenser microphone, air chamber, and a PVC film diaphragm. This sensor system has analog circuit and DSP apparatus as signal conditioner.
