New R134a Refrigerant Fluid and Parallel Flow Condensers Technology: Development of Simulation Tools for New Products Engineering

Abstract
The first part of this article describes the different condenser technologies. Thereafter, the replacement of R12 refrigerant by R134a is studied. The modelling and computation are described. The results of parallel flow condenser simulations are compared with experimental test results in order to establish the validity of the model.
