Characteristics of Diesel Spray of Impinging Flow Nozzle

Distribution of fuel concentration in the spray makes large effects on diesel combustion. We made several experimental impinging flow nozzles to increase the flow turbulence. The subject in this work has suggested a possibility of homogeneous lean air-fuel mixture formation by increasing fuel- flow turbulence in the nozzle.
