Abstract
For quality control applications using noise and vibration analysis, a wide variety of instrumentation systems exist which offer a variety of transducers and signal processing techniques.
Here, the Energy Flow Measurement Method will be described and several advantages of using this technique will be discussed.
Furthermore, the focus today is on how to both accurately and reliably detect and clarify ever decreasing differences in product quality to ensure that “zero defects” become a reality in the market place.
The application of a statistical program based on Neural Networks to improving the system's ability to provide instrumentation solutions to the problem will be reviewed.
