Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce a novel stator structure and construction method which will result in motors which have high power density, are reliable, mass-producible, inexpensive, highly efficient, light weight and capable of high speed operation. In this new method, doubly coated powdered iron is utilized to construct segment modules for stators. Comprehensive electromagnetic and mechanical analyses are performed on the new armature structure. Test results are presented.
