Abstract
The IC for a CIG-FIP (Chip In Glass Fluorescent Indicator Panel) having functions of keyboard scan and digital/analog brightness control has been developed. The panel has 60 segments, grid pre-driver, function of digital/analog brightness control ( dimming ), and function of scanning 5 x 6 matrix keyboard.
The results of the IC on several evaluation are also described. According to the results, it is confirmed that there are no problems about IC to apply in FIP process.
It will be suitable for automotive climate control system, audio system and so on.
