Abstract
AKEBONO BRAKE has developed a compact, light weight, and wide range applicable 3 and 4 channel ABS modulator. The authors believe it may be the smallest and the lightest design in the world, without any trade-off of function and performance. This has been achieved by adopting rational components layout with an originally developed small 3-position solenoid valve which is approximately one half in size compared with other known designs.
