Energy Recovery Options for RIM Polyurethanes

Abstract
This paper evaluated different energy recovery methods for Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) polyurethane scrap material. Thermal processes examined included fluidized bed, rotary kiln, and mass burning. Off gases were tested for conventional air contaminants.
