Clearance and Reynolds Number Effects on the Efficiency of Radial Flow Compressors

Abstract
The effects of Reynolds Number and contour clearance on centrifugal compressor efficiency are considered based on experimental data and an analytical model. Results allow a usefully accurate estimation of the effects of variation of these parameters.
