Abstract
The present paper deals with the high development level of cooling fans, achieved in terms of aerodynamics and noise emission under the limiting conditions of integrated cooling systems.
The fans, designed for engine families with a wide spectrum of cooling air mass flows, are optimized solutions, with the development efforts focused on smallest possible dimensions, low noise, low power requirement and cost-effective large batch production.
