Pigment Innovations in Automotive Coatings

Abstract
Worldwide actual or potential environmental regulations have stimulated research in pigment modification to allow significant increases in total nonvolatiles concentration in automotive and industrial paints without negative effects on paint performance. Distinct examples of three organic pigment classes will be presented and their performance discussed.
