Abstract
Hot Stretch Reduced welded steel tubing has distinct product characteristics and manufacturing advantages over tubing produced by other means. This paper will describe the operation of a 3-roll design variable group drive hot stretch mill, outline these advantages, and describe current automotive and truck applications for this product.
