Infrared Thermal Vacuum Test on Lageos II Protoflight Model

Abstract
The LAGEOS II Thermal Vacuum Test has been performed in order to accept the system for a thermal vacuum environment.
Characteristic of the test was the use of infrared lamps to create the required thermal conditions.
The advantages of infrared lamps utilization influenced positively the quality of the test results.
