Abstract
Civil markets frequently exist for aircraft engines being developed and qualified for use by the U.S. military. This paper presents methods that can be used to take advantage of this situation by simultaneously satisfying the requirements for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) engine certification, with minimal impact on the primary military engine qualification program.
