Adhesive Requirements for Automotive Headlamp Bonding

Abstract
Substrate properties and adhesive performance requirements are discussed for bonding plastic headlamps. Three adhesive systems; 1-part epoxy, 2-part polyurethane and U.V. curable aerobic are evaluated for conformance to Environmental Test Specifications to ensure durability of bond in service.
