Abstract
In recent years, cars have been equipped with a growing number of electronic components such as audio and video equipment, vehicle information monitors and car telephones. As a result, we are approaching the practical limit as far as ease of operation and storage space for these components are concerned. In order to solve this problem, we have developed an automotive AVC system (Audio Visual Communication system) to link these components as a single system by ·combining an audio amplifier and a centralized control system which incorporates a display with surface touch switches.
