Abstract
A Company which is involved in the design, development and testing of internal combustion engines is dependent on information. When such a Company also undertakes research and provides consultancy services concerning the automotive industry, powertrain engineering, noise, exhaust emissions, computer aided design, instrumentation and control, expert systems, etc. etc, a structured network of information resources is essential.
This paper describes the structure of these resources, ranging from project management to computerized in-house Library databases.
