Abstract
This article describes a logic algorithm which interprets the operator's driving input during emergency steering conditions. This algorithm is integrated with a dynamic simulation model of an off-road vehicle in the analysis of vehicle performance. SAE J53 Standard information has been considered in the test course data used in the simulation. The results greatly reduce the time required to analyze this complex problem with respect to design of the emergency steering pump.
