The advantages offered by CAD/CAM to suppliers of precision tooling for the automotive industry-are becoming increasingly evident every day, and to stay competitive many toolmakers are considering the acquisition of this technology. Our own experience has taught us that a thoughtful, systematic, and carefully planned approach is essential in successfully selecting and implementing a CAD/CAM system for automotive toolmaking applications.
