Abstract
A comprehensive survey for three commercially available finite element codes on the rubber analysis capabilities is provided. In addition, a nonlinear procedure is investigated to simulate the responses of rubber seals under prescribed boundary motions. The resultant shearing load-displacement relationships for several design changes are examined in this paper.
