Abstract
Components subjected to multichannel service load inputs require time-based loads both for testing and analysis. The paper discusses the techniques available for time-based history characterization and outlines a new Peak-Time history compression procedure. The method is applied to finite element model load inputs and also to process the multiaxial stress output using the same time-based techniques.
