Abstract
In the last 40 years the automation. In conventional submarines has developed. The submarines in the past being run with a large number of crew and with local manual operation.
Today the submarines have a lot of automatic systems and central control positions to support the operation aboard thus making it possible to reduce and relieve the personnel.
High sophisticated computer systems and electronics have found their way into the development of the ship technical areas of the modern submarines.
