Abstract
An analysis of lateral and directional steady state stability of a typical small commercial vehicle configuration is performed limiting the movement to three degrees of freedom: side slipping, yawing and rolling. Based on the analysis, a parametric study is performed to investigate the influence of some design and operational parameters, in order to arrive at some design guidelines.
