Abstract
1990 production of a Jet-A fueled, 400 HP Stratified Charge Rotary Engine is possible based upon on-going development work at John Deere. Research and technology enablement efforts in cooperation with NASA-Lewis Research Center aimed at higher specific output and more efficient engines permit revolutionary aircraft designs for the post 1990 time frame.
