Abstract
Test methods that have been used by the automotive industry to measure light scattering films, (“fogging”), have not been able to control the volatile content inside the vehicle. Recent technological advances and equipment choices have made the control of volatile materials an achievable goal on an industry-wide basis. Factors affecting the measurement of light scattering films and interpretation of the measurement results are described.
