Abstract
The paper presents program system enabling computations of mixture exchange/respecting the non-stationary flow/and of combustion, which are used as models for diesel and petrol two- and fourstroke engines, with and/or without supercharging. The models facilitate the analysis of the influence of design and construction phenomena - piping systems, the inlet/outlet valves control, channels, etc., and revolutions on the combustion mixture exchange, work uniformity of single cylinders in the engine, exhaust gases composition, etc. "3 - Conditions method of Zeroflow" is presented which enables to decide in advance about the type and kind of flow in the pipe branching so that the conditions of continuity equation with respect to flow properties are satisfied. The computations are presented together with experiment results and verifications for some in- and outlet piping systems. The aim of these computations is to contribute to the cheaper and faster creation of new engines.
