Abstract
The Tornado Bore Polishing test was adopted by the CEC* in 1979 after a five year period of evaluation and refinement.
In the years succeeding a later production block has been evaluated and introduced.
A relationship to field experience has also been established.
In this same period, the Tornado Surveillance Group has continuously monitored reference oil results and used this data to improve test control.
