Abstract
The first model of a new series of electronic diesel engine control units (EDCUs) is described:
First time incorporation of a powerful failsafe computer architecture with 2 to 4 third generation 8/16 bit microcomputers solves the safety problem inherent in diesel engine control and features EGR-control, injection timing, cruise control etc. in a small package.
