Abstract
Significant improvements in the performance of vehicle cab mounts can be obtained by the use of the hydraulic technology now frequently utilized in vibration isolation on car engines and transmissions. A wide range of dynamic characteristics can be provided and, with the addition of internal pressurization, mounts can be designed which encompass the range of mount stiffnesses currently used for cab suspensions and can be adapted for a wide range of vehicle applications with minimal hardware changes.
