Abstract
A new hydraulic system was developed using off-the-shelf components to gain lower effort steering, push-button machine function controls, and improved reliability. The ability to alter or add to the system (flexibility) is a requirement.
The hydraulic control requirements for this vehicle are similar to other self-propelled machines. The inherent flexibility of this system may make it adaptable, at least in part, to other vehicles.
