Abstract
The increased usage of composites in aerospace and automobile industries have brought forward various problems. One such problem is the stress concentration around holes for bolted and/or rivetted connections. This study focuses on the stress concentration around a hole in epoxy graphite with fibers in the uniaxial, biaxial and multiaxial directions. Photostress methods were used to determine the stress pattern around the hole in the elastic and plastic region of the material.
