Abstract
The application of interactive computer aided engineering techniques to the design of off-highway vehicle structures and mechanisms has produced benefits in time, cost, and overall product quality. This paper examines some of the tools that enable an engineer to investigate, understand, and illustrate the design and behavior of a vehicle or component. These capabilities include geometric modeling, vehicle dynamic and kinematic simulation and finite element analysis.
