Review of the New Vehicle Emissions Standards in Canada

Abstract
The new light duty vehicle emissions standards are currently under review in Canada and consideration is being given to adopting standards equivalent to those in the United States. The review has included an examination of the environmental and health considerations, technology and costs and economic factors associated with adopting tighter light duty vehicle emissions standards.
