Abstract
This, article tries to summarize the results of comparative tests on the performance of three mainly used pre-protected steels :
- Zincrometal
- 1½ side HDG
- 1 side e. galv.
A cooperation between surface treatment people, and automotive industry confirmed details about the performance of the above-mentioned pre-protected materials, choice of surface treatment, coating system, and test methods.
