Abstract
To optimize the absorption of input vibration energy, an automatic leveling air suspension seat for industrial vehicles has been developed.
A cam-operated valve controls the air spring which positions the system independently of the driver's weight to the mid-ride suspension stroke location. Vibration analysis plots and long-term field tests illustrate performance and efficiency of this seat compared to alternative manually operated systems.
