Abstract
One hundred and thirty metric aerospace (MA) fluid system standards and specifications are being prepared by various SAE committees; twenty have been released after ten years of work in international standards. Other benefits of U.S. participation in International Standards Organization (ISO) work and the organization of the U.S. Advisory Group involved are discussed. The AIR 2000 index for metric fluid system standards and the use of MA standards are described.
