Abstract
An automatic test system which eliminates the need for human judgement from the in process production testing of Electronic Clocks is described. The system, designed on a building block concept, is composed mostly of commercially available equipment with a minimum amount of custom hardware. Solid state electronic cameras and an in house developed computer Vision system eliminate the need for an operator to view the displays of the clocks while they are under test.
