Abstract
The validation process of a complex gas turbine powerplant simulation is described through direct comparison with experimental results. The steady state and transient modes of operation are substantiated.
A new digital fuel control employing innovative control modes has been designed using the engine simulation. Results from actual engine tests are presented as the ultimate credibility for the model and its use as a design tool.
