Abstract
The rapid advances in electronic technology, the increasing costs of transport and the limited availability of frequency channels are some of the key factors which have a major impact on the design of modern radio communication systems and the composing elements. A state-of-the-art series of mobile radio has been developed, offering maximum flexibility, optimum information transfer, a relatively low cost and full compatibility with modern system requirements.
