Abstract
Much has been written on the subject of rolling contact bearing static capacity. Most of the previously written literature has dealt with through hardened bearing technology. Some effort to relate static capacity to case hardened bearings has been published in the recent past.
This article will discuss the basic concepts and present a uniform system to rate case hardened slewing ring bearings.
