Corporate Average Regulated Emissions for Off-Highway Engines - An Optimizational Analysis

Abstract
Compliance costs for various off-highway emission standards have been predicted. Minimum cost corporate averaging strategies were compared with single engine standards by the use of a cost analysis/optimization program. Alternative plans such as engine substitution and multi-level emission limits were studied.
