Energy Conscionable Application of Hydrostatic Transmissions

Abstract
Hydrostatic transmissions offer increased productivity potential, power path (driveline) design flexibility, and decreased energy requirements. This paper will present and discuss applications of hydrostatic transmissions for agricultural and construction machinery which illustrate potential energy conservation through judicious analysis and design.
