Abstract
Traction performance testing has been conducted comparing various tire combinations on a large two wheel drive farm tractor. The testing compares different size tires and dual applications of bias ply tires. It also gives a direct comparison between radial and bias ply tires in the same size. Additional testing was performed to determine fuel efficiency comparisons of the radial ply tire versus the bias ply tire.
