Effects of Stress on the Performance of Agricultural Equipment Operators

Abstract
This paper will focus on the various forms and effects of machine and nonmachine related stress which can potentially affect operators of agricultural equipment. Special emphasis is placed on nonmachine stresses. A summary of techniques which could be promoted to assist operators in coping with stress is included. Information presented in the paper is based on experiences gained through conducting Extension education programs on the effects of stress on the farm family.
