Abstract
Interactive computer graphics can greatly enhance the value of computerized aircraft synthesis as a tool for the aircraft designer. In addition to allowing faster and more meaningful input/output, the designer can work with drawings and data in graphical form to produce more meaningful results. This paper discusses the incorporation of computer graphics into a NASA developed general aviation synthesis program and highlights its potential uses in the preliminary design process.
