Truck Chassis Frame Considerations in Equipment Mounting

Abstract
This paper discusses equipment installation practice as related to the truck chassis frame. General guidelines for bolting, clamping, and welded attachment are presented. Problems encountered by the installer, due to equipment mounting on standard chassis, are discussed so that the chassis designer may be aware of the situation.
