Abstract
The glass and fiberglass industries are playing an increasingly important role in the production of automobiles. These industries depend upon a regular and dependable supply of raw materials, adequate energy, and the means to transport raw materials as well as finished products. This paper examines these factors and discusses the ability of the glass and fiberglass industries to meet the needs of the automotive industry through 1980.
