Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the development of the Corrodkote test, and to list some of its contributions to the decorative chromium plating field. Early work with steel and zinc base die-cast test panels is described, followed by chromium plated panels. Performances of both the Corrodkote test and the CASS test are graphed and illustrated.
