Abstract
The requirements made with respect to the phantom head, as well as the impact assessment method in order to obtain realistic test results are indicated.
Particular attention is given to the possible measuring errors occurring when using unsuitable phantom bodies.
In dealing with the impact assessment methods, those according to C. W. Gadd and the Vienna Institute of Technology are compared with regard to their different assessment and properties.
